Pdf ⚔ Third Mate (River Wolf Pack, #3) ⚖ Gamegeek-denter.de

ARC received from author via Indigo Marketing Design in exchange for an honest review.4.5 This is the third book in the Wolf Pack series and without a doubt, these books just keep getting better and better.More couples are forming, babies are being had,bad guys are sticking their oar in not a euphemism and the unrest in the pack increases due to the newcomers, the ever present humans and of course Josiah and Rivers twin girls It s all happening and River just isn t able to please everyone This instalment really had me on the edge of my seat as there just didn t seem any way for an HEA without some drastic changes The author did well with the ending she gave us and although it would be an appropriate close to the story, there is so much scope to come back with at least onebook to let us know what happens next I for one am really hoping that is the case here This feels like the beginning of an entirely new chapter rather than an ending. Poor editing, but really good storyline Despite the need for editing for this series, I really do enjoy the storyline throughout this series I am off to read either the Cascade City or Angel Hills series whichever is next Pdf ♁ Third Mate (River Wolf Pack, #3) ⚕ Sequel To Second Alpha The Winds Of Change Are Blowing Through The River Wolf Pack Compound River, The Pack Alpha, Has Allowed Rogue Determines To Prevent It Can Jax Provide A Solution To Brooks S Problem Even If It Means Sacrificing His Own Happiness Can River Remain In Charge Of An Increasingly Fractured Pack Does He Even Want To The exciting finale of the previous book in this series Josiah giving birth to twin girls left me knowing some major crap was going to go down in book three No female werewolves exist and for the strongest among them, their alpha, to have human babies strikes a blow to River s power structure within the pack The faction within the Congress that still wants all werewolves exterminated is going strong and this pack upheaval isn t helping anything Oh boy River doesn t seem to be taking the pack s disgruntlement seriously and Josiah can t figure out how to get River to see the problems Leo is frustrated because River gave him the job of watching over Foster, a coyote shifter beta, and Sam, a new omega pack member Leo is finding himself attracted to both of these men but that s not how he saw his life plan going Cause, yeah, that always works out Jax and David are still struggling through their relationship while the pack grumbles louder that if Jax isn t going to take the bite then he shouldn t be there Not to mention that Jax s insistence on topping at least half the time leaves David s wolf very uncomfortable In case you re wondering, I didn t like Jax anythis time around It was interesting the way the author wrote each chapter in a different character s perspective It allowed me to see all the things going on behind the scenes, so to speak, but still keep the big picture in my head I liked the way the author resolved a lot of the issues that had been plaguing River, Josiah, and the pack, although some of the resolutions made me sad And, okay, I liked Jax better by the end I can t say I was surprised by the ending I was sad but hopeful, too, and I m really, really, wishing the author is going to do a spin off so I don t have to lose track of my favorite wolves Thank you, Rebecca, you did a great job and I adored every moment of the ride.NOTE This book was provided by the publisher for the purpose of a review on Rainbow Book Reviews Re read Yep, still love Review still holds Love the complexity of this author s stories She really did Jax s dilemma over whether he wanted to be bitten justice There was no easy fix and no cop outs I loved that Would be very interested in following the new pack as they make their way Oh, and I want to read about Justin and Milo as well Yummm Very proud of River and was super excited to have Xavier and Trace join at the end Absolutely love Leo and Sam together Love the David family unit, and I can t wait for Brooks to become a dad I read through this book in one afternoon, I just couldn t help it All of the suspense building from book 1 and book 2 and now I finally get to figure out what happens But lets be completely honest, half of the reason I wanted to read this one so bad is to find out a is Jax gonna suck it up and find a way to be with David, and b what the hell is going to happen to Brooks.I guess this one answered both of those questions And I have to say I m a little bittersweet about it view spoiler I think it was very self sacrificing for Jax to pull Brooks into his relationship with David to soften the blow of him leaving And David s not stupid, so of course he knew that he d be leaving I really liked Brooks as a character, but I don t feel like I got to see enough of him That time that he spent with David in the cell book 2 was as up close and personal as I got to Brooks, and it was so brief that I didn t have a whole lot of time to really get to know him as a character So I know that the only reason I liked Brooks so much was because of how much David liked Brooks and the way that Jax and David tried to look out for him That being said, Jax brought up the concept of polygamy on his own, and he told David that he d changed his mind about how he felt about it which wasn t true at all At the time that Jax said that he wanted Brooks to mate with him and David, Jax was still completely opposed to the idea But he did it for David and while that s a pretty misconstrued way to show someone that you love them, I have to say that I love that about Jax hide spoiler Book Third MateAuthor Rebecca JamesSeries River Wolf SeriesRating 4.5 StarsI have loved every book in this series but this one definitely my favorite one due to the storyline being complex and full but handled so well you just never want to leave this world This one is filled withcouples and previous ones ,babies who doesn t want babies ,bad guys and they aren t just human , and enough angst and unrest to make you sit on the edge of your seat In the last book we got to see the birth of River and Josiah s twin girls and the ripple effect their birth caused throughout the human and wolf worlds Not only because they are girls but because they may not even be shifters which just gets the hackles up on some of the wolves in the River Wolf pack So much change in what seems like a short time for the wolves, even if to some the change is needed, the wolves are starting to doubt their Alpha s ability to keep them safe for humans and rogues alike. This story is about David and Jax does Jax finally stand up for his man and find a way to stay with him Does Brooks somehow fit into the equation or is he the thing that pushes Jax completely out of the picture This story is about River and Josiah Do they win against the part of the pack that wants their twin girls out of the picture Do they agree that the rogues that they took in need to get out the pack NAd in order to do all of this does River have to step down as Alpha This story is about Leo and Sam and Foster Does Leo finally step up and claim to the two young men he s drawn to Does Sam tell Leo how he feels about him or will his heat change the name of the game Does Foster stay in a pack of wolves with Leo and Sam instead of finding his true mate in another coyote pack With all that goes in this story you are never left bored and you are NEVER left confused, a difficult task with so many POV s but truly the author accomplishes the task perfectly So many questions need answering because each one changes the path the wolf community is going on Each one of these couples are going through huge changes and lots of stress but it never seems that everything will get tied up in a neat perfect bow because these characters are not perfect They are complex and complicated much like their storylines The Jax and David continued dynamic was freaking hot especially when Jax topped and David loved it This author knows how to write a bad guy too because I truly despised and wish bad things to happen to a certain wolfthan once andthan one truly horrible way Getting to know Leo, through both his own point of view and through that of Sam s, was truly a walk in complexity is both sweet and tough, strong and soft What this tells is that the author writes from the heart of each character just just with a writing goal in mind I would say I hope there is a next book but in this instance I DEMAND another book because there are unanswered questions that I NEED answers for Plus you know Foster, or you don t know but if you want to knowread this series I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review through Spoiler Ahead This was book 3 in theRiver Wolf Packseries and there was a lot of changes going on in the pack With the birth of their twin girls River and Josiah both no that the pack is not happy because they had girls and were s are born male and some of the pack members are still unhappy that River mated with Josiah because he is half human and they also don t like the fact that River let rogues into the pack They also don t like that Foster who is a coyote shifter into the pack as well The pack also doesn t want the humans to come into to the pack including Jax who steal doesn t want to take the bite from David and because of this it is causing problem in their relationship Stone who is an Alpha in the pack is causing trouble he wantsmates he stalks Brooks When Sam goes into heat another Alpha Milo from another pack wants to claim him but Leo won t let him so Leo claims Sam or rather he puts his scent on him but when he is still in heat he goes to dinner and it starts again and Stone wants him When Stone s omega request to have his bond broken Stone attacks River and he is kicked out of the pack and his mates are all happy Jax encourages David to take Brooks as a mate This book has some really hot sex scenes in it River and Josiah decide to leave the pack and start over somewhere else they leave the twins with his friend Mark and his girlfriend Beth This was a good book it is well written with no errors in grammar or spelling like the first two books in this series I am hoping and looking forward to reading the next book in this series or a spin off with the other packs. 3.5 hearts This book contains three different, but overlapping stories told from four different POV s, and I devoured this in just a couple of hours I was so enthralled in all these characters lives and stories I just couldn t put it down So why the lower rating There was just too much story to it fit into a normal length novel. This means we end up getting a shortened version of each story, which, while still enjoyable, isn t what I would ve preferred. It ll probably be easier to highlight each story, as they all focused on different characters but everything was told along the same timeline This means we would end a chapter on one story but not get back to those characters for a few chapters, and because the progress of the story was constantly moving forward, we miss important relationship developments This was probably a bit of a rate remover for me.Josiah and River s story was probably my least favourite of this book River is dealing with an impending uprising due to his decisions to harbour outcasts and willingness to talk with humans Also the birth of his and Josiah twin girls there are no females among werewolves have left him out of favour with many of his pack This tension was an underlying theme throughout all the stories It was nice seeing some of Josiah s POV again, and he and River were as hot as ever, but with the other two stories holding my interest, I was happy we saw these two less. The next story was David and Jax This ended up being my favourite, probably because it evoked a lot of different emotions in me Frustration, anger, understanding, sympathy, joy so many David and Jax pretty much pick up where they left off in Second Alpha They are both secure in their love for each other, but they literally can t live in each other s world What makes things worse in this book is Jax has decided he doesn t want to be a werewolf, so he ll never be accepted by the pack, and David will never be able to have children. This story above all others should have been it s own novel, but instead it gets the least page time Like I said, so many emotions, and all of them conveyed really well, but a lot of really important events were told as a series of highlights which just got me frustrated.Sam, Leo and Foster this story started out being my favourite, but while I loved them to begin with, once the consummating occurred, it sort of fizzled Sam and Foster who we met in Second Alpha are both outsiders and have been welcomed into the pack by River They re like brothers to each other brothers who occasionally suck each other off Then there s Leo, the alpha He finds both Sam and Foster attractive, but hasn t ever pictured himself having anything other than a beta mate I can t give too much away, but I enjoyed reading about how all these individual relationships progressed, and I did not pick how it was going to end.As before, all of the sex is insanely hot I also really really liked how none of the story lines ended how I thought they would, but everything still ended well I think there is room forin the series, which I ll definitely be interested in reading. Each of the three stories were entertaining, and each had elements of a great story, however it would ve been much better if they were individually written so things didn t feel as rushed. This book is awesome and if you want to know why it s because it is a completely new take with a brand new formula on writing a series The first book is about Josiah and River, the second about Jax and David and I was kind of guessing the third would be about Xavier and Trace or and this is after finding out the title about Malcolm, Danny and Zane But this book is not about a particular couple even though the story is still first and foremost a romance This series has taken the road less travelled and now tells the story of a pack and its members taken as a whole instead of focusing on just one member s love story while have an arc concerning the pack forming the background of the series This series has taken the background and brought it centre stage and that is something that has really paid off in this book.So what do I mean by all that, well what I feel is that this series is now telling a much bigger story than that of just its pack members It is now firmly on the path of telling the story of a pack disintegrating, torn between the conservatives and radicals, and on a much bigger scale sends a message of tolerance As we have seen in the past two books, River has been making efforts to assimilate and extend relations between weres and humans and how events have come to unfold in the wake of this change But you can only take the horse to the water The increasing changes have made most pack members conservative, wishing for a swift return to earlier ways In the foreground of this political turmoil things have reached the tipping point for the River Wolf Pack. Also this time we have four POVs We are already familiar with Josiah so getting back in his mind was awesome but things are difficult with River and Josiah given that their daughters are the only females in their pack and represent a radical change in werewolf society So things are on the roll for Josiah and River as they try to make their family acceptable and then there is Jax We had David s perspective in the previous book so it was nice to see their relationship from Jax s perspective Jax s place in the pack has always been questionable and being the only human in the pack has been a prickly experience But these two are anticipating the worst the end and what I loved about this story was that it was kind of leading us to believe something else but it ended up with something completely different which took me by surprise, but then ended up shocking me by how natural that particular turn of events was What I loved is that even though we dealt a lot with Jax and David in the previous book their relationship hadn t finished evolving and still is and we are just going to have wait and watch where this relationship will take these two Some of the scenes between David and Jax were just so emotional it s amazing the relationship these two share, and how much it has changed and yet remained the same. And bringing up the rear are come Foster, Sam and Leo with their weird love triangle While things are initially very unclear on that front, these three are the focus of this book Sam and Leo are the other two POVs in this book and they really held their own as protagonists especially since they were competing with seasoned protagonists for attention. But what I adored about this story was the focus on the pack and the political and romantic ambitions of its members There are a lot of characters in this book interacting in different ways with our MCs The River Wolf Pack is on the verge of change and this book is the ride to see if they will accept it or reject it.After finishing this book, I can t wait for the next book
