Enjoyed this one too Rose is a right character, and relatable in a modern way.Still determined to visit Denniston at some point. Great follow up to The Denniston Rose Loved this book too. Would so love to Denniston, love this and the Denniston Rose a couple of my favourites they really take you back to the time when life was simple and hard at the same time. Very enjoyable Rose is an interesting character, but far interesting is Denniston itself Having read them in the wrong order I am immediately going to read The Denniston Rose Loved itFantastic read and great to learn about this wild part of New Zealand I didn t want it to end I really want to visit the Denniston Incline now. Wow, Jenny Pattrick really knows how to get into the characters This book makes you feel so much for the characters, you get so involved I want the story to keep going
